Forthcoming Events

for 2009

May                The" Grand Charity Walk Day"  will be Saturday 23rd. May 2009.

                             The event will be held at "Scasndals " Restaurant.Es Castel.

There will be a number of walks to suit all ages & all conditions.

                             Distances will vary from 2 kms to 12 kms. This year it will include a walk on the

                               North coast from Addaia to Favoritex and a coach will be arranged to take people to

the start of the walk if enough people are interested.The walk will finish where their

cars are parked.

Lunch will be provided at "Scandals"Restaurant for all those who participate in

the walk.

Ladies Probus will be assisting this year by providing stalls in the car park at

"Scandals" Restaurant. Selling Bric a Brac, Books etc., All donations to the Stalls

will be appreciated.

                            There will be a Grand Draw during the afternoon and Prizes will be a

                              Travelling Laptop Computer, a Digital Camcorder, Wii machine and a Digital -

Camera.

                            Tickets for the walk cost 5 Euro and can be obtained from the Secretary or any

Probus Member

JULY              The Evening Harbour Boat Trip will take place on Friday 3rd.July 2009

starting from opposite the steps in the Harbour.Refreshments will be available

Musical Entertainment.Tickets cost 10 Euros and can be obtained from the Secretary.

A Ladies Night will be held at the end of the Presidents year of office..Full details & venue to be announced later
